On February 14, the first Race of lovers took place in Sterlitamak. More than 100 amateur athletes took part in it. The race was held with the support of the Toratau Geopark.
Running enthusiasts gathered in a clearing over the Olkhovka River and competed at a distance of 1.5 km in three categories: "In active search", "Sporty couple" and "Sporty family".
The participants could enjoy some entertainment and activities apart from running: "Open Microphone" to declare their love, valentines right on the chest numbers and marriage proposals at the finish line.
