On Saturday,July 25,a special cleanup event called #takebackwhatyoubrought will be held at Mount Toratau. Everyone is invited to participate.
During the cleaning process, volunteers will clear the trail recommended for climbing to the top the area at the foot of the mountain, will be able to learn more about the geological and natural heritage from the researchers of the Toratau Geopark, and will install information signs calling for the removal of garbage brought with them.
Inventory (bags, gloves) will be issued. The cleanup starts at 10:00 at the foot of Mount Toratau (at the guard post).
The event was organized by the administration of the Toratau geopark in collaboration with the regional NGO “Green Bashkiria” and the administration of the Ishimbayskiy district and was supported by Ministry for Natural Resources and the Environment and Aquanel, local drinking water brand.
