The results of "Fatherland" - all-Russian young local historians convention, which was attended by teams from 16 regions of Russia, are finally out. In the Geology section, young geologists of the Gafuri district took the first place.
The team of young geologists consisting of Catherine Voroshilina (she defended the research work on the "Golden nail of Russia"), Arina Sultanbekova, Dmitry Cherkasin, Anton Polyakov, lead by the President of the local branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Gafuriysky district, Geoguide of the Toratau Geopark Ayrat Minibaev adequately passed all stages of the meeting, prepared field route description and report.
Всероссийский слета юных краеведов «Отечество» проводится в два этапа по трем направлениям «Краеведение», «Экология», «Геология». Основная его задача — это совершенствование форм и методов деятельности с обучающимися по вопросам изучения родного края путем экспедиционной исследовательской деятельности. Участниками слета являются школьники и студенты.
В слете по направлению «Краеведение» также принимала участие команда сельской школы Урман-Бишкадака, которую готовили геогиды геопарка «Торатау» Зухра Искандарова и Ильвира Захарова. Ребята дошли до финала и заняли 12 место. По словам педагогов, дети впервые принимали участие в слете на федеральном уровне и многому научились.
Note that the judges of the rally highly appreciated the preparation of teams from Bashkiria. For example, another work performed on the objects of the "Toratau" Geopark-the description of the geological outcrop "Three Shikhans" from the team of the Sterlitamak station for children and youth tourism and excursions took second place.
