The cave is located in the Middle Carboniferous limestone.2).

The cave is 487 m long, its amplitude is 28 m and volume is 5287 m3.

In the cave there are aufeis of 5 m thick and ice stalagmites in some years reaching 7 m. It is notable that they formed in the near-entrance part. This is the reason why the cave is often called Ledyanaya (Icy).

Under the aufeis, the cave floor is covered by boulders, fragments and shingle of limestones, and clay. Among the leaky-drop (stalactites, stalagmites, breccias etc.) and leaky-cover calcite forms (crust) there is also mondmilch (cave or moon milk) in the cave, which is rare in the Southern Urals.

Besides falcons noted above, the cave biota representatives are bats and endemic insects- springtails (Plutomurus (Collembola) baschkiricus Skorikow). Nowadays these insects live only in caves and are not found at the surface.

The cave is at least 2 million years old. It is one of the oldest caves of the geopark.
