Similar to other shihans, Toratau is an ancient coral reef that was formed over 230 million years ago in a tropical sea. From the top of the mountain you’ll see the magnificent view of the Bashkir land. During the trip we will also visit the mosque in Kantyukovka village – a temple of unique architecture and scale for a village. The mosque was built at the request of the villagers, the work was funded by a Kantyukovka-born donor and the name Sufiya came from his mother. Inside the mosque is decorated with Ural Marble, Italian mosaic, Czech crystal chandeliers and lights, exquisite Persian rugs. Right after the construction works were finished, the mosque became popular with people all over Bashkortostan.
